Installing Your linxCam Rear Vision Hardware

- Mount the camera to the exterior or interior of a trailer or vehicle surface such as the rear bumper using the included screws. This camera can be mounted in a variety of positions based on your needs. This example shows mounting to the top of a box truck.

Note: Alternative brackets or fasteners may be used (magnetic, for example) depending on your particular configuration.
- Route the power cable through an existing cab grommet or pass-through point to connect the Rear Vision device to your linxCam. There is no “one-size-fits-all” install and is dependent on your vehicle type. Regardless of vehicle type, identify a safe path to route the cable passing through rubber grommets often installed by manufacturers.

- Secure all wiring and tuck out of sight where possible.
- Connect the wire from the Rear Vision device to the linxCam via the included 4-pin connector.

- Installation of the linxCam Rear Vision Slimline is the same! The only difference is this device secures to the rear license plate using the existing mounting screw holes for the license plate. The kit includes 2 new screws, 2 sealing plugs and an Allen wrench.

Note: Use the included Allen wrench to loosen the lens set-screws when fine-tuning the viewing angle after mounting.
Assigning Your linxCam Rear Vision
- Open Camera Setup
- Take note of the Aux Cam column - it shows the current status for each device: Enabled, Disabled or Ineligible.
- Enabled = the camera has an aux cam successfully assigned
- Disabled = the camera supports aux cam, but does no currently have one assigned
- Ineligible = the camera does not support aux cam functionality
- Click the Assign Aux Cam button at the top of the table. When unassociated aux cams are available, it appears blue with a yellow badge showing the count.
- Take note of the Aux Cam column - it shows the current status for each device: Enabled, Disabled or Ineligible.

- Assign the camera to a linxCam
- Once the Assign Aux Cam window is open, you will see all linxCams on your account. Use the Tracker Group dropdown or search bard to find your device.
- Toggle the Aux Cam switch to ON (Blue) for the linxCam you want to pair the linxCam Rear Vision with. The counter at the top right of the window will update to reflect remaining available cameras.

- Save and confirm
- Click Save. This step enables the third video channel on your linxCam. The Camera Setup table will reflect this change by showing Enabled in the Aux Cam column for the applicable linxCams.
- Once recorded video is available, you can view the video the same way you do for linxCam:
- Videos rail: These are videos saved to the cloud such as camera-generated AI videos or any custom clips you record. You'll see three thumbnails for each video that has all 3 channels of video available.
- Alerts rail: Any alert you pair with on-camera video will show all three channels of video, when available. You can toggle between Inside, Outside and Aux views. You can also save the video to the cloud and see all 3 views simultaneously from the Videos rail.
- Live View: You can toggle between Inside, Outside and Aux when using the Live View functionality of the linxCam.

NOTE: There is no need to activate your Rear Vision device. The only required step is to assign the camera to whichever linxCam you want to pair it with.
